d6 Communicator

We are very pleased to announce the launch of the School Communicator – an innovative and exciting new way of communicating with parents. The main purpose of the Communicator is not only to ensure better communication between the school and parents, but also to replace ALL LETTERS that is circulating by hand. This will lead to savings of costs on paper for the school and for you as a parent on tuition fees! WE THEREFORE REQUEST YOU TO DOWNLOAD THIS SYSTEM ON YOUR CELL PHONE OR COMPUTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!

The School Communicator keeps you up to date with what is happening at the school. It updates automatically, and brings you all the latest news and calendar events. It also contains a photo gallery, contact list and a range of useful links and documents. In order for us to improve our communication with you we encourage you to install the School Communicator on both your computer and mobile phone. It is safe and secure and is used daily by more than ¼ million people worldwide. Several primary and secondary schools in Nelspruit are already using the d6 Communicator.

Firstly

Installing the School Communicator is very simple. Download the installer from the School Communicator website: www.school-communicator.com/downloads. While downloading click “save” and thereafter “run”. You can install the School Communicator on as many computers as you like. www.school-communicator.com/downloads.

School fees

School Fees Grd 1 – 7

Amounts to R 13 238-00 per learner per year payable in 10 installments of R1 328-00 from January to October annually.

School Fees Grd. RR & R

Amounts to R 14 525-00 per learner per year payable in 10 installments of R1 452-50 from January to October annually.

School Uniform


Learners must wear the specified summer- or winter uniforms. Summer uniform worn during the first and fourth terms. Winter uniform only during the second and third terms. All clothes must be labelled with the name and surname of the learner (not only the initials). Provincial tracksuits may only we worn on Mondays. Only learners who qualified for the Red jackets may wear it to school. Learners are allowed to wear the correct Laeveld Sport shirt to school during PT periods and wear it for the rest of the day. If a learner does not have the sport shirt any T-shirt may be worn during the PT period.
The following shoes are allowed at school: Black school shoes with the correct long school socks. White running shoes (tackies) with the correct short school socks. No leon laces are allowed. If learners do not wear the correct shoes he / she will be asked to take off the shoes for the remainder of the day.

If a learner has a problem with their school uniform, he / she must have a written letter from the parents stating the problem. Clothing Bank The school’s Clothing bank will be open every Wednesday from 07:30 – 08:15 to assist learners.
